Hold The Rice?
What's up guys? I just got a 2003 Silverstone 350 Z back in january with 54k miles and an extended warranty. I've been looking at different Z's on here for a while and looks like alot of guys have made thiers look awesome. I was just wondering though at what point do you guys think that a Z starts looking too riced up? I personally think adding tires and rims maybe a low spoiler would be all for a sweet looking ride. (even though the Z stock is fine by itself)

The longer you are here the less that looks like rice. I'm 32 and very conservative and I'm sure my opinions have changed over the years.
Edit: but I still do not like any graphics on a street or show car.

The lambo doors seems useful though, since the Z doors are so wide and hard to get out of when parked in small space. I wonder if anyone with lambo doors feel it's easier to step out of the car in small space. Anyone???

I would agree about the lambo doors....I think the car is very hard to get out of in a space. Granted normally when I park, I park waaaaaaaay far away from anything else, but at meets and stuff. I think if it is done right you are fine....but is does serve a purpose.

Great topic....The thing that appealed to me about the Z was the class. I know its different for me than you guys in socal, but here Mustangs are a dime a dozen, the Z i own is one of a handful in the entire area. It's different, and it's classy.

Its the same thing around here. I have never seen a redneck in a Z but the mustangs, camaros and vettes are full of em, and over half of them have mullets!

unless you are sponsored by the company on the sticker, they have no place on any vehicle IMHO. Just free advertising for them and clutter for you. I'm ordering my new Z soon and I am making them not put any "dealer' stickers on it, or drill any holes for that matter.

Blinding neon green with neon orange paint = rice.
Non functional intercoolers = rice.
Digital turbos = rice.
Stickers for mods you don't have = rice.
Salad bar wings = rice.
Lowering your car to the point it's non-functional = rice.
Hover lights = rice.
Lambo doors = rice.
I could think of more, but just go to a non-sanctioned street racing event sometime and have a good laugh at the posers.
