Odd Power Window Issue
This is on my sisters car(2004 coupe),and very rarely on my car (2005 roadster) the power windows on both side work fine usually, however you have to hold the switch for a second for the driver side to auto go up properly. if you don't the window will go up less than an inch then drop back down into the door, and you have to press the window down button before till let you try to roll it up again. this happens when doing it from the door switch and doing it from the door lock on the outside. every other search result come up for it going down after reaching the top so i figured id make a post about it.

The window going down on its own is usually a sign that the window motor is on its way out. Or, you could try resetting the motor or limit switch.
For either one, you have to remove the door panel. The window motors wear out. If they're still original, I would replace them since they're fairly cheap and you have to open up the door panel anyway.

Sorry i forgot to write one, i tried resetting it a couple times to no avail and eventually just left it. Later the battery had to be disconnected for an unrelated repair and i figured why not check and it doesnt seem to do it anymore? Very odd but if it works it works
