Well see what they are going for in the market.. They are rare so it will be a little tougher.

One owner is a great add on because you can hope it was taken care of...

talking to this dealership, the owner was 65, and this thing was garage kept for the years he had it. only has 12k miles. i'm going to look at it today after work, unlike the other one, this one is bone stock (which i like). i'll keep everyone updated. =)))

27k is a bit high. I bought mine for 22.6k with 14k miles. Though it's from a second owner. The second owner is the son of the original owner and sold at the original dealer. There's two Nismo in Chicago with half the miles around the 27k. I know that's miles away but maybe you can use it as a baseline for negotiation. I would knock try go ask around 23-24k range. It is winter after-all, ice/snow are being blasted all around the country.

Also if it's an 2008, it can qualify for CPO which includes Nissan's 100k/7yr powertrain warranty which may add more cost to you. Still try to hit 23-24k. I was unfortunate that my car was past the within 5 year mark requirement for CPO.

Yes cpo will add more cost to you, don't listen to the dealer if they say otherwise. It costs them money to make it certified.. for that price you can get a nice used 370z.

23k would be a good price. 27 is at the high end but it depends how much you like it.

A few things - First, CPO costs nothing and basically all the dealer does is wave his hand over the car to declare it CPO. And, it doesn't cover very much. It's a sales tool. I was looking at a used '08 with 7K miles a few years back, which was not a CPO car, and I was going to walk because I wanted the CPO. Sales manager said, "OK, now it's a CPO car", and not a thing was done physically to the car. Second, check with Vaden Nissan in Georgia about an extended Nissan Factory Warranty, which is what I ended up buying for a different '08 I bought. They sell them at very near to their cost, and much cheaper than any dealer you're likely to find. The factory extended warranty covers just about everything, and as much as I normally wouldn't recommend one, the factory extended warranty is very good. Problem is, at best it will only cover you until 8 years from the original sale date, so consider its value carefully.

Finally, sounds like a great car, but $27K seems high, as it's still a 6-year old car. If it were me, I'd be comfortable at ~$24k, but in the end it's up to you.

yeah i thought 27k seem pretty high myself, this one is an 07, sadly there are 4 nismos in my area for sale, this one, red @ 27k with 12k miles #0521, another one, grey @ 27k with 20k miles # 1047. another red one they wanted 22k with 51k miles #839, and a black one(TT) @ 31k with 17k miles #879. those are my options and sadly none of them will move on price because of rarity of the car. they all told me they classify them as specialty cars....

Stay away from the twin turbo one. Sounds like 22k one would get my vote.. assuming they will not negotiate lower. But they will sit because it's witer.

Congrats!!! These cars are fun to drive. Make sure you protect that number plate. It's easily scratched. I'm going to 3M clear film the plate as soon as the new one comes in. You're lucky you are in Texas...I'm stationed in OH and getting slammed with snow as we speak. #576 is grounded until after Winter.
