Default Rented the track last Saturday

Ok maybe I didnt rent it out but it sure felt like i did. Thats what the staging lanes looked like all day long. Paid $30 and ran my car 10 times then I switched cars with denchan350gt and ran his 10 times. After all that we still have 30 mins to keep running but didnt feel like it anymore lol. They actually annouced that they were going to close early but didnt because we were still running. Then when we parked they came over and asked if we were done then closed down for the day. I ran a best of 13.19@105 on DR's with my seat out. The day before I ran 13.18@105 on street tires with my seat in. The weather was better that day though. The best I could get out of Denchan350GT's G was 13.3@103 full weight on street tires.

No that was Capital Raceway. Better known as Crapital. This is Cecil County Dragway.

On top of everything....it is one of the better tracks in the region. The two crappier tracks are always packed.

Yup a real test and tune session. At other local tracks you'll be lucky to get 3 runs in and no time to change anything on your car. Denchan350gt switch his tune a few times and made a few runs to see the difference. Even had time to switch cars and race each other. Wish there were more Z's there though would have been fun to line up against them.

Are they strict with the cage rule under 11.49?

I used to go up Saturday am's all by myself to run away from Crapitol where at that time most on the scene knew my car. I once ran 15X in 1 hr and went home.

Yeah they are pretty strict about things like that. I almost never race with my helmet the first run and when I get my slip they tell me I have to put it on. Ive never gotten a second run without them catching me. And yeah thats another reason I dont go to capital to many eyes watching my runs.

Yeah, it did seem like we rented the track. We both ran for 20min just us. I'm going to post the in car vid.

I don't think they follow 11.49 cage rule. They had a couple of cars running 11.2 with no cage.

Hopefully more people will show up this Saturday the weather will be good.

So far one of the 370 guys said he's going to come up and run for the first time.

Going to Cecil on an empty Saturday is the best feeling. I've gotten up to 30 runs in about 5-6 hours. My car did not like me that day.
