Bee-r rev limiter
How could a Bee-r rev limiter hurt my 350z? I have heard that sense the fuel does not ignite in the cylinder that it could wash away the protective coating on the pistons. I dont know if that is true. I really want one but i dont want to hurt anything... Help me out.

It will work, but destroy your cat converter

The 350Z already has an effective and reliable rev limiter built into the ECU. If you desire so, the top rpm limit can be reprogrammed by a tuner with the proper equipment.

So ok, ok, I can be wrong (actually on a lot of things) but it’s always an opportunity. I get to learn something new and you guys get to be all sanctimonious, a win--win don't you think.

Hey no problem Slow03, I’m all into ‘kiss and make up’ and of course the kitchen thing is always hilarious. Although, I don’t know why those other guys are piling on. The OP’s car is stock without a turbo etc. and is an automatic, so I didn’t think he wanted it for a launch control, or shifting aid. His post said he wanted one (as opposed to needed one). I’m not without sin though, as I made the blunder of assuming and you know that little ditty about the word assume.

What the hell you want a rev limiter for? To just rev it when your stopped to look cool? Or to neutral bomb it? Either way your a ricer and should trade your car in for a civic.
