Again nice. Anxious to see how you did the tranny tunnel.
We just cut out a bit of it and replaced a a spot with part of the tranny tunnel from the 6speed.
We didn't weld or anything, but just used epoxy and self-tapping screws.
Underneath
Not trying to hijack either. Just trying to show other ways too! Let me know if you want me to remove the pics and I will.

i still need to get that piece to cover where i cut mine out. If any of you need wiring details I can help you out. I have pictures from my swap. its pretty much like a 240sx. you just need to jump one wire in order for the car to start. I still havent hooked up my reverse lights either lol.
Also, you dont need buy a manual transmission mount. The AT one works with a little modification. feel free to PM me with any questions.

I don't mind you using any of my pics at all man! Anything to help others out.
Here are a couple more during the process:
Clutch Pedal; had to make a template from the 6speed car since there was no stamp in mine.
Drilling out spot for master cylinder, again no stamp or marking indications at all for location between MT/AT
Can see the bottom center dash that surrounds the shift **** is different between MT/AT. Where my neffy wrap ends;
We originally thought we were going to have to change the interior wiring harness which is why we took out most of the interior. We later realized that we did not have to.
I also remember having an issue with the steering knuckle, but I cannot remember if it was due to the turbo kit or the swap.
And for kicks, the donor 6 speed car from arrival to final;
I thought I had a picture of the differences in the driveshaft just to show, but I cannot find it.
Again, hope this helps and I am willing to add any info to help as well!
I would say a CD009 tranny would run 600-1300 depending on new/used. But, it is pretty solid.
Total cost I think mostly depends on how much work you are able to do yourself. I would make a guess between 3-6K if you did not have a donor car with all the parts.

@Ashton, glad I found this thread I was just about to text you in a few days asking if you could send me those pics again If you could give any tips on the template you used for the clutch pedal that would be great.
When I go back home (likely in a few weeks when I move back for the summer), I can take pics of the two different driveshafts. I'm going to be talking to the parts guy at the dealership to figure out what shifter assembly I need. (My cd009 didn't come with one). I'm pretty sure all the assemblies on the cd009 are the same but I'm not entirely sure.
When you guys replace that area in the tunnel, I assume that's so the car is a bit more sealed up? I could get away with just cutting it and still get the interior to button up? Or will the shifter trim be attached there?
This is probably one of the best threads on my350z I've seen for diy. About time. I was thinking I would slap one together after the car was done as best I could, but you guys got it down way better than I could.

-by EFI harness u mean engine harness right?
-will i need the interior harness as well when i change my engine harness?

yea, i know what flash means. i am familiar with the 350z in a very advanced way, but my question is that would it work if i get a 6mt engine harness and KEEP the 5AT ecu and flash it?
