Ok, so I had a "it shouldnt be that hard moment". I bought the depo 06+ headlights without the bulbs or ballasts. I have an 04 base and from what I can understand I need the D2S bulbs and balasts. my question is what balasts should I buy? I know they are on the retrofit website but Im still not sure which ones they would be. Is that all I need to buy? I know I have to change the connectors around because of the 6pin to 8pin. Am I missing anything?

06+ OEM > Depo 06+ > 03-05 OEM > cheap ebay housings

That doesn't tell me much....I wanted to know how the lighting is not the quality as I'm sure that's what u were referring to. I already knew that order.

Light output and quality go hand in hand.

If it's shitty quality it's going to have shitty light output.

Read the thread. It will answer all of your questions.

Read my reply that you quoted. It answers your question.

matsushita ballasts (i've confirmed w/ TRS that the gen V is backward compatible with the gen III that comes on our cars)

Thank you, this is exactly what I wanted to say and you hit the spot. I would do the same thing with the Depo headlights too.
To Everyone that complaints about the lights and the aftermarket products, no one cares about the flaming opinions. All I wanted to find out what need to be done and had to scroll thru a bunch of BS..if you guys like NISMO kit so much and so bad then go get one stop bragging about it.

thanks and let the flaming begin

Mine has condensation pretty badly, it will only happen if my headlights are on when the outside temp is cooler.
