Default Depo 06+ style headlights and other aftermarket headlights thread

Just did the 06+ headlight conversion on my z and was browsing around ebay and ran into these. Anyone seen these before?

Even if they suck, people will buy them for the look. Example, XXR, Varrtoen and Cf decals.

If you have to ask...

One, knockoffs don't help the industry. Two they are no where near the quality of the real deal. Three they have made the scene a tainted place where a car slammed on ebay coils and varrs es6 get more looks and show placed over car that's the real deal. Fourth it has made folks forget about authentic products, twisting their minds to believing knockoffs just are just as good. Fifth it's flashy advisement and jaw dropping prices with tires allow people to ask question like you have so blindly.

There will always be reps of the best products. Look at equate brand medicines. What reps do are allow people that have lower budgets to mod their vehicles and enjoy what they do and how their car looks. Yes, the people that brag about how amazing their $400 wheels are are annoying as hell. But for others with tighter budgets, these wheels are great. I understand they wont take as much abuse as rays or works, and I would buy the top brands if I had the funds, but spending $4000 for wheels that are gonna get chipped and damaged isn't worth it. If I was racing my car I wouldn't run them, but for daily driving they're fine. It hasn't tainted the market, it's given people more opportunities to make their car the way they want them.

I wouldn't mind them if they made their own style but they copy the original mold exactly. The quality is also not up to standards, just look for XXR or Varrdongs that crack from potholes.

It's a nice car don't ruin it with crap products, Varrstoen this, Megan that, better off with OEM.

People act like they're better than someone else because they spent $4k on wheels when someone else spent the same amount on wheels, springs, camber kits, cf lip, headunit, exhaust, test pipes & headers. Who cares if someone is running XXR or Varrstoen rims? If they like it then so be it. Not everyone has the money to spend that much on top of the line products or has the want to do so.

Lol, I see by your sig I hit a soft spot. There's a reason Volks, works, enkei, etc. cost more than junk reps, quality. Peace of mind is worth my money. You save more in the short term but pay more in the long run when something breaks or fails.

If the projectors are the only downfall, I would consider getting a set of these. I rarely drive at night so I wouldn't mind one bit. At $300, it's worth a shot!
I wonder how reliable the corner LEDs are?

2004's were not supplied with bi-xenon headlights. If your car was already retrofitted with 2006+ bi-xenon headlights, then yes I presume these Depo bi-xenon units are plug-and-play. But I think I read on the seller's page that these are just housings and lenses, and you will need to swap over all of the electronics, including xenon bulbs, from your existing stock headlights.
