Trip odometer is missing digits (certain places blank)

My odometer for total miles reads fine.
The line below it, the trip odometer, does not display correctly.

Anyone experience this ?

Was the cluster taken apart at some point? That LCD screen has a whole lot of pins that need to be lined up perfectly when it's being seated to the circuit board.

It was never taken apart.

Can you or anyone tell me how to take it apart and check those pins ?
