Cool thing about Jon@Z1 is that he has the same enthusiasm of tuning no matter what you bring him NA or FI. You pay for like an hour or two tune and you get a 4 plus hour attention. He'll do more pulls on your car just getting a base line than most do after a "Full Tune".

Hummmm, No never seen it....

Hard to make out just where the serp belt is going, and why a double pulley?

Also, Cog setup is different too, see the cog idler is toothed. don't know why that was done.

What did he tell you about this setup?

His English isn't great but he is going to be sending me some more pictures. He says that he was getting slip at 16psi and had his shop build him that pulley setup. His words were that it runs independent almost and the aux stuff is Seperate. He said they custom made the pulley setup. Hopefully he sends more pictures it's deff a odd setup. The car is fully built but deff lacking in fuel and a lot of other areas to make any decent power. Small injectors and no return system on a simple Walbro has him right at 500whp

No billet girdle on his build and really not needed unless shooting for 800-900+ Rwhp

The VQ35 has a 4 bolt main girdle and is very strong from the factory. A Billet girdle really isn't necessary unless going to the extremes

Update:

Made it to north Texas without any issues. Cold weather sealed my garage since car doesn't run any coolant and am working on some aero for the beginning of the year. Hopefully begin hitting these Texas road courses early next year

Oh I also opened up my front bumper ALOT. For some added airflow to the intercooler and rad on the road course. It will get properly shrouded soon.

I gotta admit, I really like the bumper opened up like that and the crash bar showing. Are you going to make ducting for your cooler too?

Yea I'm going to try and incorporate the shrouding to the oil cooler/intercooler and rad. I also would like to get some brake ducting into the bumper aswell. I have a front splitter made of alumalite that I'm working on the bracing on. Sometime next year the Z will get a apr gt300 or similar wing. The simplistic look she has had for a very long time is about to go radical with functional aero. The side splitters are already on not sure how visible they are on the picture above.

I am a fan of where this is going. Do you have a rear diffuser now or are you buying/making one?

Rear has a cf diffuser but I would not consider it a functional diffuser. Eventually after the wing and front splitter go on I will do a half rear bumper diffuser but that won't be a while down the road. The car needs to be caged and I need a hans. Those things may both come before even the wing. We will see what this year brings

Just seen this. It deff has man, I have deff enjoyed the car a lot. Went off track last month during a HPDE, lost my lip but got another and had it painted. Still kicking like day 1 though. Will be fabbing a intake setup that will work w my crash bar. So sick of dremeling out rx4140 filters to fit this blower
