'07 VQ35HR Running Very Rich
Good morning!
My 2007 350z, VQ35HR, seems to be running very rich.
I use Royal Purple Oil Synthetic & Filter, Redline Synthetic Trans & Diff fluids.
I have a stage 1 Exedy performance transmission (all parts), heavy duty all metal master and slave clutch cylinders, and high-flow catalytic converters.
Is it possible that my car, at this point, after these small improvements just needs to be re-tuned, or is the rich running a sign of other problems?
I have no engine light on, and I am not throwing any codes out.
When I romp the accelerator, I can smell a very rich burn when going over 4500-5000 RPM-no smoke, sometimes I can smell a rich burn when idling, but rarely.
My gas mileage is dismal, I only drive on light-infested roads 95% of the time, but I think I'm still supposed to get more than 15MPG.
Thanks for any info!

Good to hear I'm not the only one with terrible MPG.
I'll keep an eye on the running rich, I'm just afraid to burn out my new, expensive Catalytic converters and the O2 sensors mainly.
