^ It makes no difference. If you ever take a look at a set or OEM front springs you will see that they still have the rubber sleeves on them.
OP, I haven't seen a set of these installed in awhile. I honestly I had to scroll back up to take a look at the date of your first post to see if someone had bumped this back up from the dead. Looks good though.

Description:
TEIN Silencer Rubber can be an effective way to reduce or eliminate noise caused by "coil slap" (when spring coils touch/ hit each other). The rubber sleeve simply slides over the spring coil to cushion the impact, and converts the metal to metal contact into rubber to metal. This reduces noise and does not affect the performance, longevity, or ride quality of the springs. Silencer rubber is offered in three sizes for use on TEIN S.Tech, TEIN High.Tech, and other such lowering springs.

Thanks guys for the compliments! I'll have some FULLY EXPOSED PICS here in a week or two... Let's just say my baby got back haha!
BoomerZ33- I love my S-Tunes so far! Haven't put more than a 100 miles or so on them, but the car feels more planted now and less 'skittish' when compared with the sport suspension. The drop is about right too!
