A cookout would let people talk and get to know each other, that would be better for solidifying the club.
As far as when to do it? Don't ask me, unless its on a sunday in the next month I probably won't be able to make it (unless it is in August or after)

theres gonna be alot of people for the skyline drive. why not make that the first meet? if the noobs cant drive they are just gonna fall off the mountain anyways

plus there are going to be a lot of people that aren't in or eligable for the club there. If its going to be an official club meet it should be club members (and those interested in joining) only.

to put some pressure on the leaders of NZC, you should have your first meet hosted by your first official sponsor, like Nissan of Fairfax or, Function Tuned or MDracer's favorite spot in the whole wide world, AAM.
