The *OFFICIAL* OHIO thread.

Guys. Just bought another 350Z last night. Drove it to SE MI from Cleveland to deal with some family issues and then back to TX in a week and a half or so. Noticed a few things that are concerning me. Is anyone familiar with the car? White 2008 Grand Touring Auto. Black Leather Interior. Has 72k miles. Afraid there may be a major issue that was not disclosed based on observations and a sellers statement he made over the phone. Was traded to a dealer not long ago. Thought I finally found my unicorn. Hope I didn't get taken.

Wholesaler for a big dealer conglomerate. Not many White, Grand Touring, Auto, Brembo and Rays around at all. 10,337 2008's total sold. Doubt 10% were even white let alone those packages. Not trying to be snide, but it's a unique enough car that someone may have recognized it. The gentleman has been friendly in dealing with it so far but trying to figure out if someone knew the history on the car to see where to go from here.

I'm not familiar with that car. Large dealerships get a lot of used cars from auctions which means it doesn't have to come locally. Do you have its history records?

We know a lot of the folks in the G club - funny because there are more Z's in that club than G's lol. And ZROC is much more active when it comes to organized drives - at least one per month from May thru October. This Saturday we are heading to Granville for the
Hot Licks Blues Fest. October 10 to Hocking Hills to slam the twisties.

G club hosts weekly meets at Quaker Steak and generally has one event per week, April through October. Not really a comparison, but you guys do hit up a lot more museums than the G club does
G club isn't poaching Z drivers, the clubs just have different activities and cater to different tastes. There are a LOT of Z's though, we debated a name change and no one ever had anything that stuck so it remained G club.
Just throwing it out there so everyone knows there is more than one club in Ohio.

Had no intent of getting into a pissing match - but then again, I have no idea what the museum ref is because I don't recall any, lol. Plenty of room for both clubs; the G Club has more modified cars and ZROC has more older gens - a ton of S30's including a lot of new members, and a good mix of everything newer. We are a "membership" club with dues, and benefits from those dues and have been that way since inception in 2003 and the club has always been focused on driving events. Looking at cars can get old, driving them never does. Of course never a bad thing to socialize with other Z Nuts either!
