Yea, the car belongs to a good friend of mine... and before anyone decides to be a smartass and say "what kind of person doesnt garage their GTR?"

well, the car is garage kept... UNTIL you leave your garage....just so happened that when the wheels were stolen it obviously wasnt in the garage...

Wheel locks are your friend. My old roommate and I have came out to our cars in the morning with some of the lug nuts from one wheel off and loose, but they realized that one of them is a lock and then left.

BC he wasnt at his house with HIS garage... clearly his gf does not have a garage at her place... so by you and every other guy on here repeating eachother like parrots saying wheel locks this garage that... like, how many times does it need to be said...

car was in the wrong place at the wrong time yet your making a good friend of mine look like a moron bc he didnt drive all the way back home to garage the car, or didnt take his garage with him in his trunk... why should us car enthusiasts be inconvenienced bc of theives, but when one of us get hit, its already our own fault... thats what makes all you wheel lock, garage saying ppl smartasses... story was stated it wasnt at his home. yet morons still talk about why didnt he have it in a garage...

and as i said, if NISSAN cant supply wheel locks stock on an $80k car, then WTF???

Enough with the explanations. I don't want to see anymore debate on where the car is parked. This thread should be closed, due to the fact it is in more than one section. I have overlooked that fact, because it sucks to have anything stolen from you. If this keeps up then it will be deleted.

then the first post should be changed since it wasnt made by me. the story was left out. and ppl are repeating each other like parrots. you can close the threads. i didnt make any of them. im just responding to ppl's ignorance. and being a mod, maybe instead of jumpin on my back, you could understand my point of view on how tiring it is hearing ppl bash my friend YET they do not know the story... what would you do in my shoes?

Wake up and say "I love NY!" Gotta Luv it.

You would think an 80G car would come with Factory wheel locks! WTF

At least who ever did it, kept the damage to the car to a minimum. When it comes to stealing rollers I have seen far worse! I am always worried when I leave my car out at the mall or while out downtown clubbin.

This is happening way too often in NY lately:

Now, I've owned this car for a little over a month before this happened (and needless to say, I was devastated). I live in the suburbs of Long Island in a nice area, but I'm 5 minutes away from the LIRR train station and I don't have access to a garage. This whole thing happened between the hours of midnight and 6am. Of course, I didn't have wheel locks on at the time, and I've learned that wheel locks serve as a minimal deterrent anyway. After two weeks of being without my car and $8100 later, I finally have my car back.
