2006 Evolution IX, Looking for a quick sale!
So I picked up this 06 Evo IX a few nights ago in a trade for my Challenger, and I believe my fiance may kill me, since the whole reason I was getting rid of the Challenger was for a little extra cash and a slightly cheaper car. I just lacked the self control to trade when I seen this Evo, which resulted in an unhappy fiance. So I'm going to throw it up for sale to see how much I can get. I'm looking for a relatively quick sale since I have my eye on a car, but it won't be available for long.
Absolutely no trades.

Since the previous "buyer" of the Evo has completely stopped talking to me and I haven't seen any money from him, the car is back up on ebay.

hey man, cool car, but can I offer just a hint of possibly helpful input: clean it up. By that I mean get it as close to stock looking as you can, give it a bit of TLC, and then you should be able to flip it no problem, possibly make a minor profit on it, if you part out the take-off parts. You should be able to find a used set of fenders in black and a hood if you poke around the internet, car-part.com being a good place to start. Sell the carbon bits, the eyelids, the shift-****, buff the rear right quarter panel, clean the interior till you can eat off it, and paint over the silly "EVIL" sign as it screams I'm 19 and have angst. Good luck with sale, I'm sure you can come out on with money in pocket and a happy fiance if you do this right

Haha thanks man. I wish someone had some cash for this car. :P You'll enjoy your Z though man.
Thanks for the suggestions man! I would totally try to turn the car back to stock and do the whole process that you spoke of, but right now I just don't have the extra cash with Christmas coming up.
I smiled as I read what you said about the "EVIL" on the ic too. I feel the same way, I just know I'm not going to be keeping the car, so I haven't messed with it. If I were keeping it that would be the first thing to go...well second, considering the first thing I did was take off the stickers that the previous owner had all over the windows. Lol.

The car didn't sell on ebay. Anyone have 16k cash? I just want this thing gone. Also, I may be trying to remove that dumb "evil" from the intercooler tomorrow as long as weather permits.

I totally get that, but as I told him, I don't really have the money for all of that at the moment. And I need to try to get my friend's car that he's selling because that isn't going to be around for long, so I was hoping for a quick as is sale.

My buddy is selling his MR IX for cheap, so I wanted to sell this, pocket some cash, make my fiance happy, buy his car, and still have an Evo, and then I would be happy. He just had terrible timing, I went and picked up my Evo, and that night he texted me telling me that he would sell me his cheap since he knew I was looking for an Evo for a while.
