I need some camber arms upfront but can't pay 700 for the SPL ones. Seems they are the only one this forum trust on track.

After raising my car and obviously loosing the front camber I used to have it can feel the loss of grip and my tire ware shows me outside tire wear also to agree with my theory

I and several others are using the modified Kinetix arms. Cheap and effective.

I've read of people modifying them before. Guess I'd need a set in my hands to make more sense

You guys are cutting them to go more negative?

Yeah, there is a piece you cut off with a hack saw or angle grinder to get an extra degree or more out of them.

Here was mine when I modded it. The top arm is uncut the bottom is cut and the threads show how many additional turns were gained. All said and done, it got me to -3.2 in the front.

I've never had a set in my hand, but they list as being able to go to -3.5 when using the race spherical bearings. So you may not need to. there does however look to be a couple millimeters you could shave.

I'd likely go with Z1 cause they are stand up and stand behind all their products. I can't take the pain of $700 for SPL ones

I'm hear wanting a better alignment cause the car pulls on the road. But if I am going to get it aligned I might as well wait till I have my front camber arms. While I'm doing that I might as well spend a couple hundred more for the rear toe arms since km running a true set up now.

Problem with this is I was saving for a full clutch kit. Hummmmmmm

Got a new job where I have an alignment rack again

So got my Z1 arms in and was able to do my front end alignment

Set the front to
-3.2 camber
-0.12 toe which is 1/8th of a inch out

My rear toe arms and eccentric bolt deletes will be here later today along with my sway bar end links

Planning to set the rear to -2.5 ish to help out power down
And 0.12 toe in the rear

Which should be an 8th of a inch toe in on the rear

What do you guys recommend for a first track day in a stock car (original 18 in reinforced Rays with 22mm spacers all around, P zero 225/245 tires).

That's not advice you donkey. It's a smartass'es comment without anything to back it up. ****in useless. Not bothered with all those horror stories about wheel spacers on tracks. Rubbish most if it.
