Track report on Wilwood BBK from Arizona Z
This past weekend, I had a chance to try out my new Wilwood BBK from Arizona Z at a track event. For those who are unfamiliar with Blackhawkfarms Raceway, it is considered by many to be the hardest track in the country on brakes. During the first session, two cars went right off the track due to brake fade. At the end of my last session of the day, my brakes worked just as good as my first lap of the day. Despite hard and repeated braking, there was no evidence of fade whatsoever. The 6-piston fronts with 13" rotors and the 4-piston rear with 12" rotors were incredible. Big thanks to Dave at Arizona Z.
I understand others have installed this kit and tracked their Z. What type of pad life are you guys getting. Some say the pads with these type of kits are good for no more than two events. Others say you can go much longer, particularly if you don't ride the brakes. I have the Raybestos pads which came with the Arizona Z kit. Any throughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have the Raybestos pads which came with the Wilwood Arizona Z kit. Because they were installed by someone else, I did not get a chance to see the exact type of Raybestos. I have an extra set on order now and will let you know when they come in.
