exterior modification for single exhaust
Hey ya'll I was looking into a single exhaust system for my 03 Z and I remember seeing a post about a modification to the rear bumper to bend it up so that the extra cutout on the right side would be hidden, but am having trouble remembering the post title. If anyone has pictures or intructions on how to do so please let me know. Thanks a million.

they call it folding.
I searched to find instructions but could not.
basically this is what you do:
go to home depot, buy a brace or a bracket... it is a strip of metal with pre drilled holes for screws (5 or 6) it is in the hardware section.
remove the two support black pop locks from the tabs and remove from bumper support. (up underneath the bumper)
push the center bumper section between the two cutouts up, predrill some holes into the bumper and bumper support, lining up with the holes in the bracket.
screw it in.
in reality you want to measure it and place the metal strip in the center so the area is even and far enough in that it won't rip out (not likely anyway)
and you are done. takes 10 minutes. (sorry for the terrible explanation)
**if there is anyone in South Jersey that needs this done (Plumpzz?) I will assist so we can make a pictorial + instructions. PM me.

I just took out the white brackets and double zip tied both bumper tabs to where the screw holes from the brackets. If you look underneath you'll understand pretty quickly. Easily reversable too!

^ donesn't 97suppratt (sp?) have this done to his bumper?
i've always loved this look, always thought it was an after market rear also. i was about to post when i first saw this, but then fear of being flamed prompted my to search harder only to find out its a simple mod.
