Lightbulb Z/G Meet & Dyno Day @ Drift Office Sun. 1/20

Ok guys, here are the final details of everything I finalized with Bob, the owner of Drift Office. I have no affiliation with the shop, but I've known Bob for a couple years now and been to his shop several times. They seem to be good, knowledgeable enthusiasts.

We haven't had a meet in awhile, so this will be a Z/G Meet at their shop, with the opportunity to meet the DO staff and tour their facilities. Of course, it's also a great opportunity to strap up to their brand new Dynojet, because of our specially negotiated prices! This is a meet for Z/G owners, but if you have friends that will dyno, they are more than welcome to join us. DO can dyno 2wd and 4wd cars.

Date: Jan. 20th, 2008

Time: 12pm (noon) - finish depends on # of cars on dyno (estimating by 4-5pm)

Cost:
$50 for 3 runs if you pay cash. (+tax if you use cc)
Free O2 hookup for A/F reading if you we get 6+ people. That won't be a problem. It normally costs an additional $10-20 depending on where you dyno.

Where:
Drift Office
4040 Auburn Way N. Suite #6
Auburn, WA 98002
(253) 520-3888

Note: Drift Office is reserved all day Sun. 1/20 for this my350Z/G35driver dyno day. We want to make sure that all Z's/G's get a chance to strap up. Everyone is welcome to join us for the meet portion. If any non-Z/G's want to dyno, and there is time remaining, they will have the opportunity once there are no other Z's/G's left to dyno.

scott, it's on 50 bucks...just slap it on there, and see what she can do. Good baseline if you want to mod it later. Still wish i had a baseline to compare my mods to.

how many runs are we gonna get? cause i wanna compare dirty air filters to new clean ones

for any other 07's that may be coming, take off the engine cover or bring tools to take it off, cause its impossible to get to a rpm signal with it still on. the place i dyno'd my car at first charged me extra to take it off, i don't know if DO will

Oops, forgot to include that. You get 3 pulls. Edited the 1st post.

It takes awhile to strap up a car, and there are going to be a bunch of cars, so there won't be time to do any modding. Air filter might be ok since it takes 30sec. I'd suggest calling Bob and asking him directly, to be sure.

Since no car is created equal, it's always good to have a baseline, so you'll know what your true gains are, as you mod in the future.

yeah, i could change them myself between pulls, since it literally is 30 secs

could i pay say another 15-20 bucks and get 4 pulls, 2 before and 2 after? or do i need to take that up with bob also?

He's gonna be very busy between helping with the dyno and meeting everyone, so I don't know what he'll say about exceptions. Best thing to do is give him a call directly.
