Default 12.0@117 on N2O

in an effort to become the first G in PR to hit the 11sec mark, I failed last night and went home with a 12.08@117.8mph.

I gues is time to go back to the dyno in search of a safe higher shot

Nice run, I feel your passion, I have been trying to get into the 11's for a while now. Just can't seem to do it. I did a 12.1 on a 100 shot so thought a high 11 should be easy.

Going to the track on Sat and try again. I do have a Maximizer now and new tires so should help with the traction issue and be a little easier on the drivetrain. I did have a 2 stage but still had traction problems in 2nd gear when I hit with the full 150.

I applaud your effort to get into the 11’s and wish you the best of luck. At the end of your run which gear were you on?

5th
thats one of my problems, I run out of 4th right before the end and by the time I put 5th I think that the car is at the 1/4 line.

Hi Jim,

Good luck on this weekend, I know you will do it sooner or later.

The car is already in the 11's... look at the trap speed (117) is all in the tires

keep up the good work my friend!

yep thats my problem, the last couple hundred ft i shift into 4th (altima 5-speed)
and it wastes time and I don't get the benefits of 4th, it just drags my times down Now I have a bigger shot so that should give me enough to actually benefit from using 4th.

I bet if you added 10-20hp shot to that you would be able to use 5th and gain from it. Also Zex is rated at the crank right? So in reality you could raise it to their rated 200hp shot and really only be about the same as an NX 150hp shot (probably same jet size) and from what I've heard 150whp shot is still within the limits of the stock internals, thats what I'd do.

my car has a 155whp shot that was dyno tuned for good A/F.
Base run was 270rhp & n2o run was 425whp, thats a 155 whp shot. I don,t think I should go up with a single stage set up and stock int.
I think that with a two stage set up I could bump it up to 175whp on stock int, we'll see if it holds

You are crazy, congrats on the awesome time and trap. Cut a 1.7 and you'll be 11's easy. Did you just tune your a/f by messing with the n20 and fuel jets on the dyno? What's your a/f look like?

Just wondering, what are your a/f's with your mods NA with the TS flash? Is "TS limited" meaning they didnt touch the timing so you could spray? Im running very lean with some bolt-ons 15.1 a/f so I want to get it taken care of by Technosquare then maybe run a small shot, 100 @ most. I admire people like you that have the ***** to push their motors to the limit. Gives us all something to dream about...your TQ is insane and your trap speed will give a tuned Greddy kit @ 9 psi something to remember too, highest Ive seen from a Greddy kit so far @ 9 psi and bolt-ons is 115 mph. Nice job man, keep pushing for 11's you will get it.

Try switching out the Stillen exhaust for other dual's, ( borla, injen...) and save 30+ lbs. That might get you to 11's

From what I have seen on the dyno from a couple of my friend's G/Z cars is that Borla is close to 30lbs less, 10hp less, and looks like a cheap exhaust. I also have to admit that is way cheaper.

I still have a couple of other mods to do before giving up

One of the thing that you have to considared after you put what Carlitos and I have in the Engine is the Walbro 255... the fuel pump helps a lot on Nitrous and N/A

Mine is running pretty good I have to go to the dyno to see what whp the car have with the system... N/A 280 rwhp with 150 shot
