Honestly spend some time in this thread and you will realize how ridiculous the specs of that wheel are compared to what everyone else can successfully run

I'm a noob to aftermarket wheels so bare with me.
i'm going with the 19/20 combo...I think I've did most of the research with the 19"s but just need some confirmation with the 20"s in the rear
I want a flush/fat tire look or as much tire as possible lol. I'm riding stock height and probably wont lower it since the route I take to work makes me bottom out now when at certain speeds. Rather not get a fender roll unless i really have to to make the wheels fit/look decent.
going with 19x9.5 20 offset in the front
for the back I'm dunno rather to go with 20x9 offset would be +15 and another offset would be +20 ,20x10 or 20x10.5 offset would be +28
my question(s) are what would be the best choice for my 20" wheels with the above option? Would i need any spacers for the front or back to achieve the flush look. Also what tires sizes should I go for?
Since I would be riding stock height,I'm probably gonna go with Nitto tires or G-Max. I could be wrong but I seen earlier in this thread that I could go with 275,285 or 295/30-20 for the rear and for the front I'm going to go with 255/35 -19
I know its a lot but any and all advice is welcome! Been researching this for about 6 months and ready to put the plan to action

IF you aren't going to lower it. Then i recommend the 20x10.5 +28
im running a 20x10.5 +25 right now in the rear and 275/30/20. i have alot of clearance at stock height. but i lowered it and had to do a -4.4 camber without rolling my fenders to keep from rubbing my tires..
if you are going stock height and want the "flush look" then get a 295/35/20. it will fill up the whole fender without rubbing. But IF you lower it. I highly recommend a 275/30/20 tire... from experience.

if I get the bug I'll just have to wait untill my tires wear down but thanks on the advice...295 it is....I figured that would be the best choice but was only 85% sure...thanks for the confirmation

Tires for 20" wheels
I have an 03 Z. It came with a set of 20" ADR rims . The rear fenders are not rolled but the front fenders are rolled. Sometimes when I hit bumps or dips in the road I get that painful rubbing from the tires. Im not sure if it is because the tires seem like they are too big (285/30) or if maybe the wheels are just too big in general. They rub on both the front and back so dont see the fenders being the issue. Does anyone know if my tires are just too big or if I should just look at downsizing to 18 " wheels ?

If it's just a scratching sound, no thump, then you need to remove the inner fender clips in the front and maybe have to fatten the lip , roll it back more after the clip has been removed. You don't really need the clips. Once you raise your car up, you'll see why it's not needed and you'll eventually find your problem. Look for black scuff marks or paint scuff. how this helps.

Wheel fitment for '03 350z
Hello all,
I just purchased a 2003 350z and I'm not sure at all about how wheel offset, fitment, etc works.
The car has Tein Coilovers on it, and is currently sitting on 19" Volk GT-C wheels, I believe 19x8.5 up front and 19x10 (10.5?) in the rear, with 245/35 front and 275/30 rear tires. Currently there is no scrubbing, even during driving, turning, etc. and there seems to be quite a bit of clearance both front and back.
I am wanting to change the wheels b/c I'm not too fond of the styling of the Volk wheels.
I have my eyes on a set of 20" FR500 replicas with a 5x114.3 lug pattern.
Wheels are 20x8.5 and 20x10 with offsets of +26.5mm and +40mm
Tire width is 255 and 285
With my current suspension setup, would it be possible for me to mount the 20's without any functionability issues?
I am also considering putting the car back on factory suspension, so if it doesn't work with the Tein Coilovers, would it work with the factory suspension?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. sorry if this is not located in the right section of the forum. I've never used forums and I'm not sure of the proper etiquette.

So you want to remove a high quality forged wheel and install a crappy replica SUV sized wheel?

The real truth in your post is...looks.
You don't like the star/spoke wheel look of the great Volks.
Even if the tire fitment(rear)is less than perfect. You would
prefer the multi spoke design that just about every wheel company is knocking off.
In 20's to make it worse with awful offsets(rear).
Is this because some guy is dealing these on Craigs?
The only good thing,if you decide to sell the Volks, they are in good condition, you
should have no problem selling e'm.

You would be fine to upgrade to the 20's but I would recommend against it
The fitment of your new wheels will be too conservative for our cars and instead you should look for something in at least a 20x9.5 (+20 or less) and 20x10.5 (+20 or less) to really make it work

Thanks for the input.
I know my decision to trade out the Volks is probably not recommended by any 350z enthusiast, but I don't see the point in having a set of high dollar rims on the car, especially considering that it's only used for commuting, and will probably never be put in a show or used for anything other than a daily driver.
After further consideration, I'm going to stick with 19's as suggested, but go with something more generic, possibly even back to OEM. I wouldn't mind putting on a set of 07/08 Z Wheels.
