2005 350Z, Silver, Enthusiast, 6sp, 81k miles, KW V3s, OS Giken diff, RPF1s+more
SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
I just bought this car a few months ago as a daily driver that I could take to the track a few times a year. The previous owner built the car for that exact purpose, and he did a really good job of putting together a great dual-duty car. I've had a ton of fun with this car so far, but unfortunately I'm finding that I miss my old miata and I can't stop thinking about putting the Z up for sale. So, here it is...
2005 350Z, Silver, Enthusiast, 6sp manual, 81k miles. Car is my daily driver and occasional track car.
SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
The original owner owned the car from 2005 to 2012 or 2013 and did the following mods over that time:
STILLEN cold air intake, STILLEN headers and Y-pipe, berk high flow cats, GREDDY Ti-C single exhaust. "Bumper tuck" to match the single exhaust. KOYO aluminum radiator. SETRAB oil cooler and larger baffled oil pan for 6.5 quart total. O.S. GIKEN SuperLock clutch-style differential set-up by Ben Herne of Puddy Mod Racing in Florida with NISMO finned diff cover. EXEDY Stage 2 clutch with lightened flywheel. Brakes were upgraded to 2006 Infiniti G35 calipers front and back (larger rotors from stock and a 2-piston front caliper.) Suspension mods are newest style SPL front upper control arms, KW V3 COILOVERS and (non-adjustable) NISMO rear sway bar. Sparco Harness bar and 4 point harnesses. Weds TC005 wheels in 18x8.5 and 18x10 with 245/275 Conti DW. JVC double-din touchscreen stereo with bluetooth. Hidden trailer hitch for a tire trailer.
Valve cover replacement was done around 76,000 miles. Front end belts and pulleys were also replaced as preventative maintenance.
Since I bought the car, I have:
-Replaced cracked berk high flow cats with Berk test pipes
-Replaced Stillen y-pipe with Motordyne resonated XYZ pipe (Stillen flex joints were failing)
-I also have the optional catalytic converter for the XYZ pipe
-Switched to 17x10 +18 RPF1s all around with 275 Nitto NT05
-New rotors all around with Carbotech XP12 front and XP10 rear
-2 track days on the NT05s, 1 track day on the carbotechs
-Installed Momo Supercup seat on Buddy Club rails (pass. seat is still stock)
-Replaced both cam position sensors
-Replaced driver's side window regulator and motor
-Removed harness bar and harnesses
Problems:
-The original owner rear-ended someone in low-speed stop and go traffic at some point. The damage was very minor. He replaced the front bumper with the OEM 2006 style.
-The rear bumper has an ugly spot where it was gouged by something. Can be seen in the second to last picture below, above the exhaust.
-The original owner stuck velco to random spots on the dash and the adhesive residue won't come all the way off.
-The door hinge is broken for the storage compartment above the radio. The plastic is broken where the screws thread in, so the door needs to be replaced.
Price: $13,000 obo as the car sits right now, but with the stock driver's seat. That price does not include the Weds wheels, the Momo seat, or the harness bar, but those items can be negotiated into the sale if the buyer is interested. I can also sell with or without the carbotechs, or with the Weds instead of the RPF1s. Basically, I can configure the car however you want as long as it's with parts that I already have.
Pictures:
I didn't finish washing it before dark so these will have to do for a day or two.
From Global Time Attack at Road Atlanta last weekend. It was my first time at Road Atlanta and I only managed a 1:46. The car is capable of MUCH faster.

Sorry but no. The Greddy is a good fit for the car's purpose... very lightweight but not crazy loud.
I'd been thinking the exhaust was getting a little louder so I got under the car last night to check things out. Sure enough... these 1 month old Berk test pipes are already cracked. I'm going to talk to Berk today to see if they'll do anything about it. I'll keep this thread updated.

Still available. Open to offers.
Berk took responsibility for the cracked test pipe and sent me a new set of resonated test pipes that aren't listed on their website. I'll be installing those this week, so the car will be back to 100% track ready after that!
