Head-unit / Receiver
About ~ 6inch, Ipod Ready, Touch screen, Rear view camera, Steering wheel controls, CD/DVD.
Don't need GPS / Bluetooth / App's
i found the Sony XAV601BT, which appears to be the best deal. but i was wondering if there's some brand im overlooking that is compatible with steering wheel and rear view camera.
Edit, i have the Nav Stock on my Z. just replacing the receiver for Raido/Ipod/Rear view cam/steering controls.

It's very nice - nothing I'd change. I like having a volume/mute ****, so I don't have to look down to change the setting, and the unit interfaces well with my iPhone 5 and other Apple gear. Not sure how well it works with an Android phone, though, as I've never tried. You can also match the color to the OEM orange lighting, and if you use a Nissan emblem as your wallpaper, it looks darn near OEM.
(sorry for the crappy pic- I was losing the light)

looked at the specs on that unit though. I'm sold.
What are the connectors/adapters you need for the bose speakers/woofer and the steering wheel buttons.
Found them from other thread, thanks again.

Surprisingly, no. It has a signal strength meter (like on your cell phone), and it's almost always 5 of 5 bars, although sometimes bad weather brings it down a notch or two.
This might vary by location, but FYI, I'm in Florida. The Garmin also has a neat "easter egg" which allows viewing the satellite data and where they're located. It easily grabs 4 or 5 satellites at a time.

To Update, Finally got all my parts from Crutchfield. and installed it today with the back up cam.
Went with the Pioneer AVH-X4500BT
Looks nice, in the 2nd picture the buttons look red, that was a result from camera they actually look just like the OEM orange lights.
(Which can be changed but for now i like how it looks oem)
** However i am having a problem, when i turn up the receiver loud, to around 35 (max 40) when ipod is connected its louder which results it to scratch around ~25. the receiver will scratches out on bass notes. **
It will sound good, then the receiver will sound like the radio station has gone down (that scratchy noise) for a split second on that note.
Could this be because of the out put to the sub due to the fact it's only happens when its loud, or did a wire get jumbled around when i put it all together?
Thanks.

because i do have another spare bose amplifier that i stole from my old maxima, it looks like the same one.
i don't believe it's the speaker, due to the fact if i crank the db/eq on the base the sub hits much harder.
i was thinking that it might have something to do with the tweets?

You can also check out boss indashes too. It looks just like drains indash.
I don't have a pic on my phone of the indash so I can't show you, but you can also use blue tooth to play music off your phone etc etc.

The OEM Bose subW amplifier is small and flimsy, and doesn’t handle high volumes. If you do have another that is in good condition, you could try swapping. I suspect you will get the same result.
Do you think the amplifier has gone bad, or can't handle the power of the new HU, again it's only when the volume goes pretty high, granted i was planning on upgrading the subwoofer. just not yet.
