Ok I was told by the the dealer that my car was 298hp because the manual tranny has more power than the auto tranny which puts out 287hp. I was reading on this sight and read of a high rev and non rev. The high rev has 7k red line and the non rev has 6600redline. That sux! My car has a 66oo redline. Is that really true that nissan made 2 versions of this motor? my car is an 05 6spd

Next question. I get horrible wheel hop! Anyone else? What can i do to stop it?

You prob. have a 287 motor, and for wheel hop...prob the way you are launching it.....try the search button or you wont make it around here with those questions

 

funny thing is i had my car longer then most of the people that responded. I see some people are forum *****. I guess people on this sight make fun of people when they dont have the answers

 

Ur Dealers on Crack and is setting you up to get flamed as a cruel joke. Your wheel hop is just something you will have to experiment with to eliminate

 

if you have had your car that long you should not be asking that question.

Uhhh...you're not helping your case. You shouldn't generalize everyone on this forum as being dicks, wont help you either. You had your car for that much longer --> you should know that much more. I dont understand how you forked over $25-35k for a Z and dont even know what you have.

 

hmmmm u must have got ripped because i bought it in feb of 06 and wrote my check for 22500 my car is an 05 and had 6300 miles

 

sorry but my car isnt my main priority! I dont live at home with mommy and daddy! I have 2 kids and a wife and a house. Those are my priorities! My car comes last! I just got a promotion at my job so Im finally starting to have extra money. Not everyones priority is there z!
