Man, I thought you guys were overreacting to the amount of orange peel the Z's paint has, but today I found out you guys weren't kidding. I went down to the Nissan dealership at Altlantic Auto Mall in West Islip this afternoon to see what they had for Z's. They had four that just came off the truck outside and two on the showroom floor with an adjusted market value of $5,000 above MSRP!

The two on the showroom floor, a Super Black Touring with orange leather, and a Performance Redline had oragne peel from top to bottom. Now, I know that orange peel on any new car isn't a rare occurance, but for some reason the orange peel on the Z sticks out like a sore thumb.

Hope they get this fixed soon!

 

Man...Nissan really needs to get their act together. And remember those old posts about every car having orange peel? They are wrong. I looked over my Lexus, and there is NO orange peel. It is paint perfection! Lexus is the best!!!
