There's also a track in West Virginia, not too far from DC... 3 hours, I think. It's called Summit Point Raceway. You can look them up online. They have track days and stuff like that.

Heh, "There I Was" - Air Force Magazine. When I used to go to work with my dad as a kid, I'd spend all my time reading those mags.


As to being shot in cars, took care of this unfortunate kid yesterday who had gone out for his 21st birthday got shot while sitting in his car. And I mean shot as in bang bang not click whirr. So, yeah, it can happen. The scary thing is that he got shot a few blocks from where I work, and I drive by there all the time.

 

gotta watch out for those tire rack types, never know when they're gonna start shooting....

Nice story ezee. You had me confused about Tire Rack's location for a while 'cause your info on the left says Bethesda. I just moved from DC (No. VA) and I was thinking, Bethesda, near the airport... couldn't be BWI. South Bend. NOW I got it.

 

South Bend is where they had the National 3000GT meetthis past August. I wish I had been there!
