There's also a track in West Virginia, not too far from DC... 3 hours, I think. It's called Summit Point Raceway. You can look them up online. They have track days and stuff like that.

Heh, "There I Was" - Air Force Magazine. When I used to go to work with my dad as a kid, I'd spend all my time reading those mags.
As to being shot in cars, took care of this unfortunate kid yesterday who had gone out for his 21st birthday got shot while sitting in his car. And I mean shot as in bang bang not click whirr. So, yeah, it can happen. The scary thing is that he got shot a few blocks from where I work, and I drive by there all the time.

I just wanted to clear up a couple of things I read .....
I have a 1990 300ZX TT Stage III with Stoptech 332mm Brakes
I Purchased it in May of 2002 just outside of Cleveland
it only has 40,000 miles on it now (34k when purchased)
The Owner of the Tire Rack drives a Jag
(Director of Marketing drives the Viper)
I run many of the events on our test track but, not all ...
all minor inconsistencies but, wanted to set the record straight

Nice story ezee. You had me confused about Tire Rack's location for a while 'cause your info on the left says Bethesda. I just moved from DC (No. VA) and I was thinking, Bethesda, near the airport... couldn't be BWI. South Bend. NOW I got it.
