Default GF saved my Z???

So yesterday as I am leaving work, my GF calls and says, "I don't feel like driving tonight, why don't you come stay at my place instead of at yours?" So, I am like sure, why not. Now at my house, roommate and myself have been really busy and the garage is trashed, so I have been parking outside. I park outside at the GF's house too. My roommate leaves the C6 in the garage at all times, but his Z71 Tahoe can stay outside sometimes too. Like I said, we have been REALLY busy. Anyways, I didn't really want to stay at her house, but I figure it is fair cause she stays at my house a lot and has to take clothes and whatnots. I go over there and we go to sleep around midnight. Phone rings at 3:30AM and it is my roommate telling me I am lucky I did not stay at home. He tells me that after he got home and went to bed... (2AM, the Drunkard) he hears the Tahoe alarm 30 min. later. On the driveway there are motion detecting flood lights that were on, and the alarm was going off. All windows in tact, and doors closed. The only way to set off the alarm that we know of on that truck is to open a door. So he turns it off and goes back to bed. 10 min. later it goes off again so he calls the cops and is just looking out the windows. Sees out the front a group of guys running to and from a car he has never seen. We live in a safe area (north plano). The cops come around the corner, and LIGHT THEM UP! Not sure what all was broken into or stolen or anything like that. But I guess the GF saved the Z from the thieves?

You should switch out one of those motion sensing lights with a strobe light/alarm. It's not hard at all...and keeps people away at night. :-)

If your area is safe... it means you're even more at risk.

Don't be naive.

Question

Can you give me some insights on the strobelight alarms. I have a new Z and had my truck broken into in my driveway. Where do you get them and how hard are they to hook up?
