Factory weight is found on sticker on driver's door panel.
Mine is a performance model that weighed 3815 freakin lbs from factory!
All the pre-release info about the Z said it would weigh 3200 lb, so where did the the extra 615lb come from on my car???

 

That number in the 3200 lb range is the Curb Weight (empty car only). The number of the door sticker is Gross Weight. It includes all fluids (tank of gas), driver, passenger, max payload.

 

Yea I always have trouble explaining that to my father. He tells me his X5 weighs 6000+ lbs. And he doesn't get the concept that it is really 4800 lbs w/ just the car. He think he just does it to **** me off most the time though, cause he knows i aggrevated when he is being ignorant about cars.
