Default Road Trip

I've saved enough money for my new Z and saved over 9 weeks of vacation. Shortly after I get my new Z I'm going to take 6 of those weeks off and head across country. I'm going to set my Nav system and head to California to drive the coast, Azrizona, Utah, Montana, Vegas, Oklahoma (OK, my Dad lives there), New Mexico, and more..... I'll be sure to beep my horn as I fly by doing 125 MPH.

Sounds like fun. Take a run through Yellowstone when you head through Montana.

Samurai...must be nice

You should take your video camara with you. Never know when it might come in handy. Like when you are going 125mph.

PS..if you need a co-driver, i'm ready to go. I'm nice, and can hold conversations very well. Also, i'm pretty good at driving too

Oh so envious of you, well until next year.

I alway drive out west for vacation (Vegas is usually the stopping point but not always) but this year do to scheduling, project launches at work, and the arrival of my Z, I don't think I'll be able to take my 2 week tour out west.

You might seriously consider getting the new Z luggage before your trip. Not a lot of room to store six weeks worth of stuff otherwise. Especially if you take on a passenger. BTW Samuria, I live in the District, please post when your Z comes in. I would like to come by and drool over it while I wait (impatiently) for my Z to show up.

Now there's a woman's fashion statement I would whole-heartedly endorse: CLEAR BRAs.

Cool

Sounds like fun - make sure you venture a little north through Colorado - the I-70 climb will be a good test and the scenery is spectacular. I'm just a little biased.

robbyn,

I don't see any benefit if the blouse is normal. You need to endorse more than that. Keep trying.

Samurai,

What company you work for that let you saved up to 9 weeks of vacation and let you go off for 6 weeks? If you work for my company, you'd spend the rest of your life (may be 12 months) catching up those 6 weeks.

>Sounds like fun. Take a run through Yellowstone when you head through Montana.

Thats in my list to visit.

> You should take your video camara with you.

I'll be taking a Cannon D30 digital camera, a Canon ZR25 video camera, and my Apple Titanium laptop

>Hey Samurai, if you do that you should take copious notes and pictures. You might be able to sell it as a story to one of the car mags or even to Nissan.

Will do, I'll even give 25% of what I make

>Hey I live in Oklahoma! So stop by so I can see what a Black 350Z looks like in person!

OK, assuming I have my car and make it to Oklahoma before you get your car.

> Break that engine in nice and easy bro

Like, dowm my driveway and them floor it ?

> BTW Samuria, I live in the District, please post when your Z comes in. I would like to come by and drool over it while I wait (impatiently) for my Z to show up.

OK, if I get my car first I'll swing my DC on my way out.

> Sounds like fun - make sure you venture a little north through Colorado - the I-70

I actually live right off 70 in Maryland. My father lived right off 70 in boulder Colorado for a year. I've always wanted to drive 70 across the country. I'll probably do it on the way home.

> Don't forget to load up on radar detectors also

I've always had a remote detector. The one I have is 8 years old so I'll have to go looking for a new remote.

>What company you work for that let you saved up to 9 weeks of vacation and let you go off for 6 weeks?

I know companies that let you have 6 week sabaticals every so many years. I have worked here for long time to build up this vacation. I also work in a non production environment and I just got an assitant so I think I'm covered. I'll also have my cell phone and laptop if they need me. This is if I remember to turn them on

Now, all I need is some nice woman to go along...
