Default well crap...

HUGE nail in my rear passenger side tire. Im talking like the size of a bolt. straight into the tread. bout a half inch head on it.

trying to find a tire shop open on sunday. ahhh what a pain. doesnt seem to be losing pressure tho, so thats a good thing. atleast not according to the tire pressure monitor.

morons. they had no damn clue at pepboys. first they used one of them jacks with the 4 arms that go under the car, but they thought itd bo ok to just put 1 ARM UNDER THE CAR!!!! so their lifting, and Im like what the hell are you doing? the other side was hitting in the center, like the arms are off the center bar, and it was hitting the car since the frame was flexing and the suspension was just going down.

so finally someone with half a brain came over and was like HELL NO, you cant do that. he took over, he wasnt even a mechanic, just a car enthusiast that worked inside. he went and got a floor jack and lifted the back of the car properly, since the regular jack really just wasnt fitting(something you guys should be aware of)

took the tire off and pulled the screw it appears to be from the factory like that, cause it is 99% likely to be a screw used on the car.(just a hunch) anyway, so they tried to take the tire off the rim, but came to the realization that he wasnt gonna do it without scratching the rims paint.

finally he just plugged the hole from the outside, filled it back up, and used a torque wrench to put the tire back on(the only mechanic there that did so, everyone else was air gunning it)

anyway, in conclusion pepboys sucks, nearly dropped my car off a lift, and with the exception of that one guy(he may not have done what I wanted, but atleast he was willing to admit it, rather than screw it up) and now I have to make an appointment at nissan for next weekend to get it patched properly.
