Although the pics of my car (at the link in my sig file) show the car with splash's, I've since taken them off of the back b/c from the back you can see the tires better. Left them on in the front to protect the doors from flying stuff.

For those who can't decide, this may be an option.

I dont have em, but that doesnt mean I dont like em. 2 different looks, both equally nice, I just choose the free look.

MUD FLAPS? I assume you mean Splash Guards....

I see MUD FLAPS on Tractor Trailors and Off road 4X4's.

Splash Guards aer quite a different story...

I voted NO to MUD FLAPS.. I just can't see anyone with "Back Off" or Yosemitie Sam on some rummer flaps... However, the Splash guards don't look all that bad...

The 911 is my role model for what a sports car should look like (Z looks even better) I have never seen a 911 with splash guards, nuff said.

I think my splash guards really help here in Pittsburgh, like Jersey.........the roads are horrible........I feel like I am dodging potholes all day long. And the construction and loose gravel, I will leave them on. Here is a pic of mine, not a great pic but you get the idea.

oddly enough, no gaurds here, but I have not had a single rock chip from front or rear tire kicking up rocks. thats with 5000miles. my last car a truck, had the problem before and after I put on spash gaurds, and yes they were splash gaurds not mud flaps. they were ridgid form design.

I took my rear guards off the day after I got the car. I really like how the fronts look, but the rears seem out of place and IMO the fronts protect a lot more (whole side of the car) than the rears do. Since I took mine off so early, there was no paint damage or marks at all.

Here's what it looks like with just the fronts on.
