I was driving with a little less then a quarter of a tank and noticed that my car seemed to hesitate on acceleration. It was almost like I was running out of gas. My milage guage showed that I still had a 110 miles left. Anyway, I stopped in a gas station and filled up ~ 12.6 gal and the car seems to run fine now. Any ideas on what happened? I have 10K miles.

 

Possibly had some moisture or condensation in your tank. It happens. when you stepped on it the fuel may have sloshed a litttle in the tank and sent some of the water in your tank into the fuel pumps pickup. BTW its normal to have a little condensation in your tank.... Just a theory
