Here is the original tread I posted on the Forum

To make the long story short, I recently purchased a short shifter from ebay (NOT B&M Shifter).
I finally installed the short shifter over the weekend.
As I posted before, I had 2 issue's
1. When you accelerate, you hear a little rattling noise.
2. Some times, my short shifter can go into reverse w/o pushing it down. (it seems like the shifter is not poping back up and getting stuck)
After working on the issue #2, I finally got it resolved. I had to file the inside of the big ring blue ring so the shifter will pop back up w/o getting stuck and readjust the Guide Plate.
So now, other than the little minor rattling noise, my shifter works fine. I will have to work on that over the weekend.
Installing the short shifter even got rid of some of the knochiness in 1st to 2nd & 2nd to 3rd. For those of you who have knochiness issue, this will help.
Over all quality of the shifter is great and the price is well worth it.
$79.99 + shipping which is about 1/2 the price of B & M Short Shifter.
JUST THOUGHT YOU GUYS MIGHT BE INTERESTED.
I'll post an update regarding the rattling noise once I work on my car over the weekend regarding issue #1.
