Default Modding a 350Z, would like your input

Hello,

Currently looking to improve the performance of a 04, stock 350Z, with a manual transmission. Looking to go w/ bolt ons for now.

Does anyone have a similar setup to my thoughts listed below and what ¼ mile times are you running or would you anticipate? Thank you in advance.

Catback
Cold Air Intake
Under Drive Pulley
Computer Chip
Steeper rear end gear (equivalent to a 4.10 - 4.30 ratio)
Suspension upgrades (looking for advice on this...)
Drag radials

I dont know of anyone with computer chips. I think the highest rear ratio people have is the 3.9 (if i'm thinking of the right thing). I have no idea about the computer chip, but those other mods would gain you like 20hp i think. Drag radials will help with 1/4 mile times.

Get a JWT Popcharger if you want some small gains. CAI is a waste of money on the 350.

And I think by computer chip he might mean an ECU reflash...

Okay, did not know if they had chips for these cars. So reflash the computer. Anyone else running N/A w/ a similar "bolt on" setup?

dude it all depends on you. Theres people on here tht run low 13's with like intake and test pipes, then there's others who have e/i/h + pullies and run like 13.8. It's not like you're gonna go out and buy all those things at once, so don't worry about it. Just start with the popcharger or catback and go from there.

Get headers and a good exhaust.
