RWD - I had a '93 240sx with 200,000 miles. I grew tired of fixing it. If Nissan still sold the 240sx, I would have bought that.

Fast, awesome styling, decent price, two doors, two seats, doesn't look like a econobox (Sorry WRX you look like crap). I think that just about wraps it up.

Along with the fact that the Z has style, class, and history.
I agree, these are some of the main reasons I bought this great car.
(And because I couldn't afford a new M3 )

My final two choices in the new car hunt were the Z and a BMW 325i. As much as I loved the 3-series, I just found the Z to be so much more fun to drive. Plus I realized I'm still at the age where I can have a true sports car and not worry much about practicality (single, no kids, few passengers, and I travel light).

Yeah it's nice when someone comes up to you while your washing your car and asks "Is it as fast as it looks?"

Had a cop ask me that at the corner convenience store. Told him, yeah 65 MPH but it gets there real quick. Cracked him up and made my day.
I got it 'cause itz a z.

I was happy with my G35 Sedan... Had no real desire to buy a 350Z, I thought they were to small for someone 6'-4", so I never tried one.... Then one day I was driving by the Nissan Dealership and I saw a 350Z Roadster sitting out front, I was dang thats one hot looking car, so out of curiosty I went over and sat in it.. To my surprised I had lots of head room.... This, in my opinion was the only Roadster on the market that didnt look like they designed it for women... It had that retro porsche look, and something James Dean Could drive.... I was pretty much sold... Just had to wait 3 months to get the vented seats...
