Some Future Cars-Looking Good!
*Disclamer* None of this ***** will prob. ever hit the shores, and I am a Z fan first and formost. For the newbies and never-will- bes (you know the type, Should I get the Z33 ORR THE , Evo VIII, WRX STI, New Supra, RX-8, Enzo Ferrari, add in another other car that either does not exist yet, never will, or something they can't afford) I want to say once again these cars will prob. never be here. BUT that said here is some neat cars. All are from Toyota and can be viewed on their website. My reason for posting this is, new cars and new competition = better for everyone.
Here are the photos and blurbs.
You might say it's made to fly: its exhaust manifolds are made out of a nickel-based alloy used in jet engines. Its engine is a 500-horsepower monster derived from Toyota's championship-winning IMSA GTP race cars. And three-hundred-forty lb.-ft. of torque whines through a rally-inspired 4-wheel-drive system on Bilstein struts and springs. With all that ruckus going on, you need a 4-point racing harness to hold you in, and 19-inch racing wheels and tires to hold the road. But only one thing to hold your own: The Ultimate Celica. Cleared for takeoff.

MR2 Street Affair
It's a cocktail of wild ingredients with nothing to chase it. Built by our Formula 1 race shop, Toyota Team Europe, the MR2 TTE Roadster is a rich blend of track and street. Like the road-going MR2, it's topless and has a mid-mounted engine. And like its Formula 1 inspiration, it has impossibly wide tires, no doors and a sequential manual transmission: the clutchless, electronic marvel now available on the MR2. Other volatile contents include 19-inch wheels, Eibach springs and dampers, and a top speed in the neighborhood of 155 mph. So keep your eyes peeled. As Toyota comes to legendary tracks like Nürburgring and Indianapolis, this rare concoction lurks in the paddock, waiting for someone to turn the key. And for more news on Toyota's debut battles in the world of Formula 1, click on http://www.toyota-f1.com/.

FXS
Over the last year, two of the top drivers in the world have been wringing the highest possible performance from the Panasonic Toyota TF101, Toyota's debut entry in the 2002 Formula 1 series. Meet another high-performance Toyota: FXS. Its weight is perfectly balanced, 50/50, between the front and rear tires. And like its wild F1 cousin, its low center of gravity delivers outstanding stability when driven to the limits. Tucked under a long, curvaceous hood is an all-aluminum 300-hp 4.3-liter V8 mated to a 6-speed sequential manual transmission, allowing drivers clutchless, seamless shifting with buttons mounted on the steering wheel. Just like Formula 1. Because at Toyota, we've seen the future -- and you'll want to keep both hands on the wheel.

Inspired by Toyota's long history in the World Rally Championships, the RSC puts an off-road spin on a traditionally on-road automobile, the coupe. Its carved, creased flanks just cover meaty 19-inch tires and give the RSC ample ground clearance. Inside, wraparound 4-point racing seats, GPS and a dash-mounted sequential shifter make a singular statement: The trip from Paris to Dakar will be a swift one.
Yeah but with the Ultimate Celica, can you actually buy this car? And for how much? Is anyone racing this car?
OH! and VQ, I think after 25K points you automatically get to own the site! Almost there!!!
p.s. While I don't have as many points I have a higher PPP (read: Points Per Posts) average.
OK. Sorry. I will de-dork myself.
