Default radio station display(RDS)

i know someone will say RTFM, but is there anyway to make the radio station display stay on? on my father's silverado ss, whatever station he's on it will stay on the display, (and most gm's too) which will tell you the name of the song and other messages from the radio station. whereas on the Z, i will constantly have to push Display when a radio station has the RDS symbol on it. Any ideas, thanks.

oh yeah, i have an 03 touring with the Bose.

I didn't even know we had this feature. I just looked through the 2003 Manual and I don't see anything about it.

I didn't know it either...I think the stations have to be broadcasting digital for that feature to work. The ones around me are still on analog. I'm probably wrong though. :-) We are switching to digital soon!

There is no way to keep this option on that I have found. I have an 04 Roadster and was looking at the same thing when I got it.

I really wish my car wasn't in storage so I could go play with it and see. Have you tried holding the DISP button for an extended amount of time?

My car is also in storage for the winter. I'm just going by memory, but I think I did try holding the DISP button.

I was wondering the same thing. Pretty lame that it isn't "always on" like in GM cars. I will try holding the RDS button for 5 seconds to see if that works.
