Default Well I beat the clock and got mine...

Well as I believe this was the last day for pre-orders I broke down and went to my local dealer in Norfolk, VA and ordered my black base 350...I am really stoked I went with base because im putting in a mp3 player with custom speakers all around, doing aftermarket leather because I want a dark red, and I didnt want to add the weight of any other options like lsd and vsc. the stereo is going to add enough weight. paid msrp 28034 out the door including taxes and fees. They're ball parking a sept oct delivery date...is that about right?

That delivery might be a little optimistic. But who knows...I sure as hell don't. Search for threads on this topic and read 'til you can't take it anymore.

I think it's safe to say you won't have a good idea of when it's really coming until August...so just sit back, relax, and dream of your Z and know it is coming!

I did the same today in NC. Dealer told me I should receive confirmation in 30-45 days and expect delivery in November.

I spoke to my dealer today and he had a production sheet. My car will be manufactured in July and delivered in September. He read the sheet to me and even said that all 11 of his cars were not on the list to be delivered in September, so I guess I'm a lucky one. He gave me a "production number" or something too. I'm getting more and more excited each day...

Congratulations!!!!! When I get mine, I'll head north and you can head south and we'll pass each other somewhere near the Mason-Dixon Line.

I finally got in touch with my salesman. He did have tickets for the event in Danville - just hadn't sent them out - the event is this Sunday. His manager has received delivery information only on 1 car, the first of those ordered. That car will come in late August.

I was wondering how far away is Danville from LA, and is that event open to the public or just people who preordered a Z?

The event will be at the Blackhawk Automobile Museum. Place has a good collection of cars in addition to all the Z's that will be there for this special event. The event is open to the public. I heard that tickets cost $8.00. Runs from 10:30 AM until 3 PM or so. Will have Z's from area clubs and at least 1 350Z. Danville is close to the intersection of Interstate 580 and 680, due east of Oakland. Probably 400 miles from LA.

Cool

Which dealership did you order it from? Was it MSRP? What was the down payment? Was it refundable? I'm curious since I'm in Chesapeake....

After Danville, the 'show' heads to LA, although I haven't seen any details yet on what is planned.

Hopefully word will trickle out soon.

Yeah I paid msrp 26880 total was 28034 after everything, i dropped a 1000 dollar deposit and of course they said it was non-refundable...but the catch is all deposits are refundable unless you sign a very specific legal form stating that it is not. So if you decide for any reason not to get your z and want your money back you are completely legally entitled and if they give you **** threaten to call a lawyer and the better business bearuea you should also immediately bark up the chain of command to the general sales manager and then the general manager.
