Default two questions

Ok here goes.

Urethane VS Carbon fiber Veilside lip. What is the difference. I need to replace my lip but I don't know which one to go with. I have heard that the urethane is the way to go, but it seems that the carbon fiber would be just as durable and even lighter than the urethane.

Question 2: Will the OEM 17" wheels clear the stock Brembo calipers from the Track model. I am getting new wheels and might need to get the 17"s to ride on until my new wheels come in. Will these fit?

Thanks in advance
David

Not too worried about weight savings ( I don't race my car), I am more worried about the durability of the part. It seems like carbon fiber would be just as durable as the urethane would be, True or False?

And also would the 17"s clear the Brembos?

The carbon fiber lip will be pretty brittle in comparison to the urethane. The urethane will be much more durable. The carbon will be lighter, (usually anyway), but the urethane will hold up better to impact or scrapes. THe carbon looks cool, and so long as you drive the car properly, you won't have any trouble. If you hit something hard enough to ruin a CF lip, a urethane won't help because you'd have hit the urethane hard enough to ruin it too.....
