I was just curious. I have an 05 base...just recently(1500 miles) my clutch will occasionally pop when i press on it. was wondering if anyone out there knew what this was and if there was some kind of remedy for it, w/o having to take it to the dealership.

I have the same thing happening on my Z and I'm an 04. It's nothing that's going to break or damage anything. I don't know why it pops either, i've been talking with the techs here about it too....

 

You're talking about when you let the clutch out it pops right..? If so then yeah mine does that too. I asked about it on here and didn't get many replies. I think it's pretty common... not sure if it's bad tho. Hopefully not.

BTW- mine does it alot louder when the car first starts up. What about you?

Mine happens when I'm pushing the clutch in- right when I'm passing the clutch engaging point.
Doesnt sound like its doing anything harmful-just annoying. Makes me feel bad when im driving my car.
