it's located on top in the rear license plate area. It's a black push button. If the button doesn't work there is an on/off disable switch on the top of the large glove box behind the passenger seat.

Your trunk button is where your license plate is, just feel to the upper area inside where your plate sits and there is a rubber/plastic button. Your doors have to be unlocked in order for it to open from the outside.

No, there is not an inside hatch switch.

Edit: There is an emergency hatch cord that is located beneath the rear strut bar, I believe.

I didn't even know about the rear latch until I saw another Z owner press it to open his hatch.

Yeah, I couldn't believe they wouldn't have a way to open it from the outside, so I broke down and read the manual. About your problem of not being able to open the car from the inside, can't you just tell the person outside to press the button above the license plate?

well, there is a trunk latch inside...on the rear strut bar...but it's kinda hard to reach.
for the most part you will have to use the botton in the back, above the license plate

Here's what you do...find the little pull on the rear strut and tie a long piece of string (spectra cord is preferred) to the little finger pull and run it along your center console and tie a loop in the end. If you need to screw a few eye screws into various places to run the string. LOL
That's the "hi-tech" way to do it. :-)

BTW-don't try this...I was just kidding if you didn't get that. LOL

What? You mean we have a trunk?

I've just been throwing everything behind my seat. And man, the stuff in the very back is very hard to get out.

This thread is HILARIOUS. We need to start a section that we put all the threads that would be embarrasing if they were linked to other forums. We could put this there, the air freshener one and stuff that is so just that random.

Stupid questions I got one. How do you erase all the memory from the navigation? Too lazy to read the manual.
