Okay I know that in Japan it's known as the 'Fairlady' Z, but are there different specs on this version? If so, where can I find the specs and information on it and such?
My first Z was a Fairlady Z, brought over from Japan in 1972; right hand drive, great CAR; it had a 5 speed tranny which was unheard of then with 2000 ccs in engine; however the 5th gear compensated for the -400 ccs which by the way ~ came standard on the later 240Z i.e. 2400ccs.....sold in U.S.

Funny, i was just about to post the exact same question. I was always under the impression that the fairlady does has more "go" since they don't need to meet the EPA's damn restrictions
