Default **Austin Happy Hour/Dinner** Fri. 11/8

Many new owners have joined the Z ranks here in Austin and the surrounding area. So, how about another meet and greet?

When: Friday, Nov 8, 2002 6-6:30 PM
Where: Baby Acapulco's on Barton Springs Rd

If you plan on attending, please email/PM TRACK350z, with your RSVP, so that he can get an accurate count for the table.

For those attending, please try to be there early. We can look at the cars and what not prior to eating and we don't have to worry about Baby A's not seating a incomplete party. And I will try to follow my own advice

Hope to see you all there,

JD

Default I'd come but....

some of the other Z folks, as well as myself, will be going to RCR for their monthly import race. This is the last one of the year and the weather should be nice and cool.

Maybe next time.

Default I love Baby As

Is the road deconstruction finished on Barton Springs? I was hoping for a location with better access/parking. Any ideas?

Default Why not pick somewhere with a paved and lit parking lot

There's no lights or pavement in Baby A's lot (except for right up front), and as NiZZan suggests Barton Springs is still under MAJOR construction (read unpaved at that section).

I don't know about the construction (Edit: loose beat me to the reply). TRACK350z recommended the meeting place. If enough people don't like it, maybe we can do somewhere else.

Rodel,

I thought about going to the event, but I want some more experience with my tranny. I think I _might_ have the synchro problem. Y'all have fun and let us know how it goes!

Someone else mentioned to me how bad the parking and the road conditions are.

What about the Baby A's at I35 and Howard? Plenty o parking and no real road worries (except the normal stuff ) What do you all think?

Bah...one day early! I'm going out to the field again tomorrow, so I'm hitting Austin tonight in the Z to hang out with some friends...and when I get done I'll be moving to Dallas for a month or so, so I guess I'll prolly hit the meets there.

BTW, Articfury, I think I passed you Nov. 1 on the 35 when I was headed to the airport, around exit 240 or so maybe?

Matt,

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it.

I don't think it was me. I still have yet to see another 350Z on the road. But, it could have been me and I didn't see you. I did see a Brickyard at the Foley's at Highland Mall Tuesday, but it was parked.

Default PM or emil me for reservations

I dont mind which location we go to, allthough the ritas are better at barton springs. You guys let me know. There is a good place to park across the street from Baby A's barton springs. We can see the cars from the outdoor patio.

Drop me a line and I will give everyone an e mail to location and time tommorow.

Thanks

Default well

I'd come if it were a better location.

My Track 350 does not go on I-35.

Round Rock area works better for me...

sorry to be such a bum about location, but its just not worth the hassle going south for me.

if the location changes, let us know. If it stays south, you all have fun and maybe next time.

Chris,

It's only down to Parmer. Over by the PN complex, in front of Home Depot. It's less than 5 miles. You could even stay on the Frontage Rd all the way down. I drive it every day, it is the best part of I35. Here's a map.

I hope you change your mind about the location.

Jan,

The I35/Howard Lane Baby A's has quite a few options for parkiing. By the time people are going to be getting there though, we will probably want to park in the Home Depot lot, which is very close.

If we could get the outdoor seating, tonight might be a good night for it.

Thanks for your work on this.

Everyone,

I was there at 5:50, i left notice w/ host to let you know where we were seated at the bar (350Z Party), Since we couldent seat incomplete parties.

We stayed untill 8pm. Glen went to the other Baby A's and waited till about 8:30, he did not check his e-mail before he left.
Sorry Glen.

I don't know how we missed each other.

Did you see my Z in the parking lot, it was right next to the left of the building.

That Sux, and here I was thinking you guys ditched me.

Next time we will have to post pictures, so we know what we all look like.
