yep, that's really good driving music and isn't conducive to leadfooted activities for me which is good. Plus our local classical station is on public radio so it's commercial free.......bonus!!!!!!!

I Love the Deftones, GodSmack, Thursday, The Used, and many other brain pulling, eye popping, blood sweating, bands that make you contemplate taking satan for a ride too, but suprisingly, I can't slow down listening to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.....it reminds me of Tom and Jerry when they are chasing each other....bring it on Tom you dumb cat!!

I agree. Thunderstruck and GNR are near the top of my list. Not shocked that as another codger, I haven't even heard of half of these bands, but AM shocked that no one mentioned:

Metallica--Enter Sandman
Jimi Hendrix--All Along the Watchtower
Van Halen--Hot for Teacher
AC/DC--You Shook Me

Classical--Wagner--Ride of the Valkyries

AND my all time fave drive-fast song: Queen--Fat Bottomed Girls. The right foot goes down, and I sing along like a maniac. (I does likes the looks of ladies wid a little meat on dey bones, too!)
