Start at about 2k RPMS, then try and measure whether you have to go higher or lower.

Turn off your VDC and I can tell you now, that your going to have to launch above 2k if you want to get your 60' any where around 2.0. If you launch around 2k your probably going to get a 60' around 2.2, 1/8th 9.1 and 1/4 in 14.0. Like the say just keep practicing and rev higher with feathering of the clutch. I'm also working on the feathering the clutch thing and I'm going to start reving in between 3-4k on launch because I want 8.8. in the 1/8th and hitting 13.6 in the 1/4. Good Luck!

Why do you even post that time? Now if a ignorant person looks at it thay would assume a Z runs 15s. Even if your launch was a 2.0 you wouldve got a 14.5

Haha, no kidding.

I got down to a 13.50 my last visit to HRP. I wanted to get there over the winter sometime but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Ain't nuthin wrong wit posting hi real time... If people assume things... so what... the key word in your comment is "A IGNORANT PERSON"... let them assume

My first time (EVER) was a 14.8 and i was proud of it... do i know that my Z is far more capable of getting better time? YES i do...

this is how people learn... from other experiences and advices...

15.0 for a first timer is pretty good... keep it up

the only reason I got a 13.5 with the stillen is that I have no skill

A supercharger only makes the car better, not the driver.

I guess it must suck to have an auto running 60' in 2.0 and can't hit high 13's. What is your 1/8th? I can run a 2.2 in the 60', 9.1 in the 1/8th and get a 14.0 flat in the quarter. (equation 9.1 +.22 / .665 = 14.0) What I want is 1.9-2.0 for my 60', 8.8 in the 1/8th to run a 13.5-13.6. Keep practicing and Good Luck!
