Congratulations on not getting injured or worse in this accident. It seems like almost daily now that we read about a 350Z getting totaled or damaged in a single car accident caused by the driver losing control after slamming on his brakes to avoid another driver, dog or someother object. We can blame the tires or some other aspect of the car but the real problem is excessive speed for the conditions (in this case rain) and failure to drive defensively.

Good luck in getting your Z repaired or replaced.

I agree that we should always drive defensively.....however, I think that the "lowness" of the Z is why other drivers often times dont see us. Our Zs dont take up much space on the road and, similar to motorcycles, are hard to see from other drivers' veiwpoints. Just be safe and stay out of peoples blind spots.

that sucks man...sometimes it's just better to hit the person but unfortunately our reaction to dodge gets the best of us.

You're okay that's most important..let insurance take care of the rest.

The guy who cut me off was driving a silver 525i, not one of the newer ones, I didnt have a chance to see his license plate number. He probably drove off into the night thanking god I didnt hit him . My claims adjuster told me that im not to blame for the accident and not to worry about my rate going up, which is awesome. Im going to find out tomorrow if the car is totalled or not, for some reason I dont think it is.
