I'm currently relocating to Houston to help my father who had a massive stroke 8 weeks ago. I am selling my house, picking up the wife, and moving to Houston at the end of the month. I have 0 contacts in the area and searching for a job like crazy.

best of luck to you in your time of need. Ever think of relocating him to your area? Seems like he has a lot less to drop. Either way I hope it works out for you because that's a heavy situation.
