Talking MORE SEMA photos at StrictlyZ

Hiya all,

Thanks to Rai (Tranzition) took a lot of photos at the SEMA event. I believe we have more but uploaded some of the many photos that we have gotten so far from the SEMA event.

I pretty much talked to every manufacture that had a 350Z there. We helped with one 350Z as well at the show. I would say there was about 10 or more 350Z's at the show.

Pretty much a lot of new exhaust systems, ECU, Body Kits, Brake Systems, Suspenions and everything else.

I know people here are curious so I soak stuff up like a sponge what do you guys want to know about the cars there?

Oh yah I must admit the AXIS car looks a lot better in person! For some reason the pictures that we saw they looked more Pearl.

ASK AWAY!

I'd like to know more about the ECU. Did they just take a stock one and modify it? Hondata does that with the RSX Type-S producing gains of about 32WHP...

Ditto that. Interested in any ECU info. Manufacturers, gains, dyno results, torque curves, cost, when available, etc.

My question is related to the ECU ones. Did any of the tuners talk about needing to use black boxes or ECU changes to get HP results with I/H/E (Intake, Headers, or Exhaust) upgrades? We have had conflicting stories, so it would be nice to hear what the tuners are actually experiencing.

Thanks for the info and the pics,

JD

Talking ECU

Ok well so far only one company is pretty close to finishing the 350Z ECU. They will start to do testing next week on a 350Z. Next week because they have been busy getting ready for SEMA.

Thats really it for now. The Greddy Twin Turbo car, still needs work with the ECU. But they did boost the car some which is cool. I know the guy who put together and prototype the whole kit.

A lot of you guys know this about the ECU already but for those who don't. With the 350Z ECU, its not just intalling a Modded Chipped.

What they basically do is take the existing program for the 350Z and modify it and insert their program. So there is no need to open the ECU up.

I will keep you up to date with the test results. A couple of the manufactures at the show should be dynoing their car very soon as well.

Default THE GREDDY TT OFCOURSE!

I was asking the guy that prototyped the kit if I could get a ride. As they have boosted the car while they were driving around VEGAS.

Took them about 2-3 Weeks of just working on that car to get it ready for the show.

The black 350Z with the Kaminari kit looked pretty sweet. Except for the Toyota Celica looking hood. The company that used the car had about 5-7 cameras on the exterior and interior of the car it was crazy. You could control which camera by the shift **** too.
Would be a great thing for all you tiny camera freaks..

Also the VOLK car was very sweet too. It was great to see those huge rims again, also a side company will also be introducing an exhaust.

Talking Body Kits..

Ok this is all from memory and nothing is set yet.

Ofcourse Stillen is making a body kit,

Greddy is working on one.

Wings West (Blue 350Z w/ big wing)has one. It has skirts all the way around and is going to cost around 800 from what i'm told. Its urethane too!! Big wing not included

Kaminari had one. It was the black car with the celica style hood The front bumper skirt looked good though.

Ofcourse the NISMO ones which looked good.

I might be missing one or two but this is on the top of my head. But its good to see kits coming out soon.

Also for those of you who like trim kits. There were a few of those out for the 350Z in Carbon Fiber and Brushed Aluminum I believe...

We will probably be selling all these kits. So if you really like one please let me know. Keep in mind a lot of these kits at the show are prototypes but probably will be in production by the beginning of the year.

I really wish someone would make true brushed aluminium interior door handles. The painted handles just seem a little cheap, which they obviously are, compared to brushed aluminium.
