well just came back from a local dealer here and they are telling me that the feathering problem has been fixed by Nissan on the last quarter in 2004 and all 2005s are cured from this problem.

Anyone wanna share this comment?

we have to wait at least a couple more months for the 05 Z to build up some mileage. My 2005 Z only has 2k miles, so I can't say anything yet. One thing I do know tho, is that you have to ge an alignment right off the lot. My Z was way out of alignment specs when I first bought it, so the next day I went back to the dealer and got a free alignment.
